Plans After Graduation

I plan to play volleyball at UW- Eau Claire and want to study in the area of health services.

Honors (Volleyball or Academic):

I will always remember when I decided to give up soccer for volleyball, even though I had played soccer longer. I’m so glad I made the switch to volleyball because of all the amazing things that have happened since.

What has volleyball taught you?

Volleyball has taught me mental toughness, physical toughness, how to be a great teammate, and so much more about things outside of volleyball.

What are your goals for your Senior Year?

My goals are to have a lot of fun and to make the most of my last year.

Do you have a favorite meal or dessert?

My favorite meal would have to be Hibachi chicken from Osaka with a Shirley Temple.

My friends and teammates make me laugh the most.

After high school season, I go to BSU ( Black Student Union).

Message to my parents:

Thank you for always supporting me, pushing me to be my best, and cheering me on every step of the way. I’m so grateful for the sacrifices you’ve made and the love you’ve given me on and off the court.

What have your coaches taught you?

My coaches taught me how to play freely. Most, besides one or two, had taught me how to be an impactful undersized hitter.

How would your family or close friends describe you?

My family and close friends would describe me as funny/silly, inventive, kind, and loyal.

What are some things you feel you can’t live without?

I couldn’t live without my family or friends.

Do you have any superstitions?

One of my superstitions is to avoid re-tying my shoes unless I absolutely need to.

Do you have any favorite sports teams or athletes?

What is one thing you would put on your “bucket” list?

One thing I would put on my bucket list is to live in another country, preferably somewhere in Europe.

Favorite Animal:

My favorite animal is a horse because I always loved them growing up, and I enjoy horseback riding.

Best memory from LVNVB?

My favorite memory from LVNVB was a bus ride my freshman year on the way to & back from a college game. You had to be there to understand.

Advice for younger players?

My advice to younger players is to work hard on everything you do, be coachable, and always keep a positive attitude. Trust the process, play for your team, and most importantly have fun! Enjoy every moment, because the time goes by fast.
